Senior Pastors
Pastors Sherman and Audrey Shelley
Pastor Sherman and Audrey Shelley are co-pastors of Hope Lighthouse Christian Church. Natives of Boston, they were called to do the work of the Kingdom in their youth and have served in ministry for over 40 years.
Pastor Shelley has a tremendous passion for God’s word. He experiences a deep personal fulfillment in following the call to serve others in ministry. Pastor receives his spiritual guidance from the Word of God, as taught in 1 Peter 5:2-4. He makes use of the Word of God to inspire people to bring about change in the world.
Pastor Audrey has had a passion for singing the Gospel since she was a young girl. Through anointed worship and praise, she reaches souls for Christ and teaches them how to worship God, mind, body and soul, so that they may experience the spiritual fulfillments of healing, deliverance and freedom through worship.
The Pastors have been married for 44 years and have two sons and daughter-in-laws, and four grandchildren.
Ordained under Church without Walls out of Jubilee Christian Church, they have been co-pastoring at HLCC for over 11 years.
Assistant Pastors
Melvyn and Bernadette Johnson
Pastor Melvyn Johnson is the Assistant Pastor at HLCC. Together he and his wife Bernadette have been part of the HLCC leadership team for nearly a decade. Pastor Johnson has served and directed ministry for over 30 years. Bernadette is an educator and serves as the leader of HLCC Women's Fellowship Ministry. She has dedicated over 30 years of service to Boston Public Schools and has a passion for sharing the gospel. They have two sons, three daughters, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Youth Minister
Jaronzie Harris
Jaronzie is an educator with a passion for bringing young people closer to the Lord. With a background in creative youth development, she incorporates arts-based methodologies into her spiritual formation practice with young people. Jaronzie has been a member of HLCC for 10 years. She received her B.A. in Theatre Education from Emerson College and is currently completing her M.Div at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.

Janet Jasper Harris
Administrative Assistant
Janet has been a member of HLCC for over a decade. She provides administrative support to the Pastors. Janet has a passion for helping others and it is shows through her hospitality. She has a warm and inviting spirit that aligns with the church vision.
Owen Korzec
Church Musician
Owen has been a part of the music ministry at HLCC since 2016. He plays piano and sings on the Praise and Worship team. Owen attended Berklee College of Music and is committed to the vision of HLCC.
Jasmine Perez
Media Coordinator
Jasmine has been a member of HLCC for 10 years. She explores tools and technologies that can be used to boost social engagement. Jasmine is excited about using the various media platforms as a way to proclaim the Gospel.
